Our 3 Days desert tour from Marrakech to Merzouga The first day of our three-day trip to the Sahara Desert takes us on an incredible journey. Once we leave Marrakech, we will start with a scenic drive through the High Atlas Mountains and stop at the Tizi N’Tishka mountain pass at an altitude of 2,260 meters above sea level.

Enjoy the panoramic view of the valleys through the mountains as we continue our journey to the Kasbah of Ait Benhaddou.

In the Kasbah, you can admire its extraordinary architectural style, which has attracted several international film productions such as Kingdom of Heaven, Lawrence of Arabia, and The Mummy.

Conclude your tour of his Kasbah with a panoramic view of the entire area from the top of a hill.

Not far from the Kasbah, we will make another stop in the city of Ouarzazate, where we will visit the Atlas Film Studios to see how movies are filmed in this area.

We will also visit a fascinating building known as the “Taourirt Kasbah,” which stands out for its magnificent architectural style and for having served as the backdrop for several films shot in the area, such as Gladiator.

Upon our arrival to Boumalne Dades town, We travel along a small road that crosses the Dades River and passes various kasbahs scattered along the route to reach the Dades Valley, where we will accompany you to your hotel for the night.

On the second day of Our 3 Days marrakech desert tour, In the morning, after breakfast, we leave the Dades Valley and head towards the Merzouga desert via the Todgha Gorges.

The Todgha Gorge is a famous valley near the town of Tinghir; we will stop long enough to share the road with the locals and take some of your best photographs, when the caramel-colored rock walls blend with the shadows and light of the clear blue sky.

After lunch in the gorge, we continue our journey towards the desert.

Once you arrive in Merzouga, we will take you to your hotel to rest and prepare for your camel trek through the sand dunes of Erg Chebbi.

Ride your camel and enjoy the changing colors of the dunes at sunset until you reach the camp.

Stand up, climb a dune, and sit back to watch the sun disappear into an enchanting desert sunset. After that, dinner is served in the camp, along with a place to sit around the fire and listen to the music of drums under the sparkling sky.

The last day of Marrakech desert tour 3 Days After a fascinating sunrise in the desert followed by a shower and breakfast, we return to the hotel in Merzouga by camel or car, depending on your preference.

We depart from Merzouga and head to the city of Rissani, where we will make a brief stop to visit its interesting traditional market and conclude the tour at the city’s grand exit gate.

Next, we continue our journey to Ouarzazate through the villages and palm groves along the road and stop at the Valley of Roses in the town of Kelaat M’Gouna to gather more information about the rose festival held there every year.

Another stop is in the town of Skoura, famous for its palm grove, where we will visit a charming kasbah called “Amridil Kasbah” to see its living museum.

Once we arrive in Ouarzazate, we will stop for lunch and rest before continuing our journey to Marrakech.
