Our 3 Days tour from Fes to Merzouga Desert Departing Fes in the morning, we make our way to the Sahara Desert of Merzouga. On the way, we will stop at various interesting stops; our first one will be in Azrou where we stop in the middle of the Cedar Forest to see the Barbary apes living in the forest.

Next, we continue driving through the lands of the Middle Atlas until Midelt city, where we stop for lunch and relaxation.

After that, we ascend the High Atlas Mountains and cross Zaabal Tunnel which will drop us in Errachidia. From this city, you will notice the clear change in the environment and approaching the desert.

The next stop is in Ziz Valley, a green valley with thousands of palm trees, in which you will have the chance to enjoy the panoramic view of the green valley between the dried harsh lands, and don’t forget to take some of your best shots of a green oasis.

Leaving Ziz Valley will take us to Erfoud and take a straight way to the desert.

Once in Merzouga, we drop you in your hotel on the edges of the Erg-Chebbi dunes.

Enjoy your first sunset in the desert and spend this night in the hotel.

The second day of the trip is to discover Mezouga, the desert and the nearby villages.

In the morning after breakfast, the 4WD car will be waiting for you outside the hotel to start an amazing excursion.

Once in the car, we drive on an off-road through the sand dunes of Erg-Chebbi until we get to the other side of the dunes where we stop at the black harsh desert. In this place, nomads living in the area will be happy to host us in their beautiful tents with a cup of tea as a traditional Moroccan way of hospitality.

After a break with nomads, we carry on driving on the black harsh desert to reach an old abandoned village which is believed to be a French military village.

In order to obviously see the transition from the black harsh desert to the golden sand dunes, we should ascend a mountain offering this amazing panoramic view in addition to a nice scenery of the valley separating the two areas.

Returning back to the main way, we will stop at a village for a cup of tea accompanied by melodies of Gnaoua music sung by local inhabitants.

After that, we drive back to Merzouga to rest and have lunch.

In the afternoon, camels will be waiting for you in the edges of the dunes to ride them to the camps. Ride the camel as a nomad and get pleasure from the amazing views of the dunes in your way to the camps.

Enjoy the fascinating desert sunset over the dunes and spend this night in the middle of the desert under the shining stars.

In the camp, you will be served dinner followed by the sounds of the drums music.

The last day of 3 Days tour from Fes to Merzouga Desert In the morning, we will depart Merzouga and drive towards Rissani, where we stop to see the great gate of the town and its marvelous souk or market.

After a small tour in the market, we head off to Errachidia which is the capital of this southeastern region.

Out of the city, we stop at Al-Hassan Ad-dakhil dam which is responsible for drinking and irrigation water for all the area including the desert.

Afterwards, we start driving over the High Atlas Mountains and stop at a panoramic view of a mountain pass known as “Tizi N’Talghemt”.

After lunch, we continue the way through the Middle Atlas and stop at Ifrane city, a beautiful city usually referred to as Switzerland of Morocco, in which we visit the sculptured lion statue which was carved by a German soldier in World War II.

In the evening, we reach Fes and we drive you to your hotel or riad where the tour ends.
