Our 5 Days tour from Marrakech Considered the most visited city in Morocco and Africa, Marrakech is a paradise for lovers of history and culture.

For this reason, the first of our 5-day desert tour from Marrakech will be dedicated to exploring the city and visiting its mosques, museums, gardens, palaces, and, of course, the medieval medina surrounded by walls.

There is no better way to start this tour than with a visit to the magnificent El Bahia Palace, built by “Ba Hmad” or “Ahmed Ben Moussa,” where you can admire and appreciate traditional Moroccan architectural and decorative style.

Dar Si Said was founded by “Said Ben Moussa” who is the brother of “Ba Hmad” the founder of “El Bahia Palace”. Dar Si Said now is an interesting museum where you can see different types of carpets and a lot of other items exhibited in the museum.

Another significant palace is El Badi Palace that dates back to the 16th century. The name of the palace means ‘incomparable’, with its Moorish style of Architecture, it was at that time the diplomatic palace of the Saadians.

On the mention of the Saadians, we will make a visit to their majestic tombs. About gardens, we won’t miss the chance to visit the blue Majorelle Gardens to capture some of the best photography shots.

Menara Garden is also an amazing public garden for photography as the lake is surrounded by plenty of olive trees and the distant views of mountains.

Finally, the tour ends with a walk in Jemaa el-Fna square to see the place where people gather in the evening to see the shows of the magicians, snake charmers, storytellers and so many others.

Have a drink on the terrace of the cafe near the square and enjoy the sunset.

In the morning, we will depart from Marrakech and begin today’s journey to the Dades Valley through the High Atlas Mountains.

We will definitely stop at the Tizi N’Tishka Pass viewpoint, above the High Atlas Mountains, to admire the splendid panorama from the summit.

After completing our scenic journey through the mountains, we arrive at the famous Kasbah of Ait Benhaddou, a beautiful fortified village and one of the country’s main tourist attractions, recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Next, we reach Ouarzazate, the Hollywood of Africa, where we stop to visit Atlas Film Studios and learn more about the films and television series shot in the area, such as Game of Thrones.,

Vikings, Lawrence of Arabia and the Mummy.

In the same city, we also visit the Kasbah of Taourirt, which embellishes the city with its distinctive Moroccan architecture, attracting international filmmakers who have shot scenes from films such as Gladiator and Prince of Persia there.

At the end of the day, we continue along the Road of a Thousand Kasbahs, passing through the lush palm groves of Skoura and the fragrant Valley of Roses near the town of Kelaat M’Gouna, before finally arriving in the beautiful Dades Valley.

In the morning, we will leave the beautiful lands of the Dades and head directly to the city of Tinghir, famous for its green valley of palm trees.

Before arriving in the city, we will make an interesting stop at the magnificent Todgha Gorge.

Needless to say, the Todgha Gorges are one of the country’s most interesting tourist attractions.

It is a destination for local and foreign tourists who want to enjoy the breathtaking views the place offers, climb the gorge, go hiking, and take beautiful photographs. Lunch on the gorge, you will have enough time to explore the area properly.

During the journey to the desert, we will pass through various villages and towns such as Tinejdad before finally reaching Merzouga. Once we arrive in the Merzouga desert,

You will be welcomed with a cup of tea at the hotel to rest before setting off for the dunes for an unforgettable experience. Camel trekking through the golden dunes of Erg Chebbi is undoubtedly one of the most beautiful experiences you can have.

Above the sand dunes, enjoy the magical sunset of the Sahara Desert and descend to the camp to dine and listen to the music of Berber drums.

In the peaceful, clear atmosphere of the desert, don’t miss the opportunity to enjoy the breathtaking view of the Milky Way and its bright stars. Overnight stay in a well-equipped tent.

The fourth day of the tour is dedicated to exploring the desert and discovering all sides of the golden sand dunes of Erg Chebbi.

After showering and breakfast, we return to the hotel where a 4×4 vehicle will be waiting to get you ready and start your desert adventure.

Crossing the desert on dirt roads, we will reach the opposite side of the dunes, where nomadic families live in traditional tents. There we will take a break, spend time in their company, and learn about their lifestyle and how they cope with the challenges of the harsh desert environment.

Next, we will drive along a dirt road through a valley to reach a mountain that offers breathtaking panoramic views. From the mountain, you will be able to clearly see the transition from the arid desert to the sand dunes.

Next, we descend into an ancient French village in M’Fis to see the old French army buildings of the time and discover the mines in the area.

Returning from the other side of the desert, we will rest in the village of “Khamlia,” known for its inhabitants, most of whom come from sub-Saharan countries and have settled in various locations in Morocco, including this village.

The inhabitants now pay tribute to the extraordinary musical art of their tradition through Gnaoua music.

Still in the village, we will enjoy a tasty lunch before returning to Merzouga.

Depending on your preferences, the rest of the day is yours to relax, whether you choose to enjoy a swim and a refreshing drink, or decide to explore nearby villages such as Hassi Labied.

The fifth and final day of the trip will start in the desert and end in the city of Fes.

We will leave Merzouga in the morning and travel just 36 kilometers to our first stop: the city of Rissani, famous for its imposing entrance gate and lively traditional market.

After a brief tour of the city, we continue towards the Ziz Valley, one of Morocco’s most famous oases and the country’s main date producer, where we will stop to admire a splendid panoramic view of the lush palm groves.

At lunchtime, we will be in the city of Midelt, known in Morocco as the city of apples, to rest and enjoy a delicious lunch.

Then, we will start driving through the villages of the Middle Atlas until we reach the cedar forest of Azrou, where we will stop to see Barbary macaques playing near the road and sometimes being fed by passengers.

Ifrane, or the “Switzerland of Morocco,” is a town near the forest, where the next stop will be to see a completely different Moroccan town and visit the famous carved statue of a lion.

Finally, passing through the town of Imouzzar Kandar, we will arrive in the city of Fes, where our 5-day desert tour will come to an end.
