Our 3 Days desert tour from Marrakech to Merzouga The first day of the three days trip to Sahara Desert takes us along amazing stops. Once leaving Marrakech, we would start by a scenic drive over the High Atlas Mountains and stop at “Tizi N’Tishka” mountain pass at an altitude of 2260m above the sea level.

Have a panoramic view of the valleys through the mountains, we continue the drive to Ait Benhaddou Kasbah.

In the Kasbah, you can see its amazing style of architecture attracting several worldwide films such as Kingdom of Heaven, Lawrence of Arabia and the Mummy.

End the tour in his Kasbah with a panoramic view of the whole area above a hill.

Not too far from the Kasbah, we have another stop at Ouarzazate city in which we will visit the Atlas Film Studios to see how movies are filmed in this area.

Also, we visit a charming building known as “Taourirt Kasbah” which is distinguished by its own magnificent style of building and its share of movies filmed in the area like Gladiator.

Upon our arrival to Boumalne Dades town, we take a tiny road through Dades River and the various kasbahs dotted on the road to reach Dades Valley, where we drop you at your hotel to stay overnight.

On the second day of Our 3 Days desert tour from Marrakech to Merzouga, In the morning after breakfast, we leave Dades Valley and make our way towards the Desert of Merzouga via Todgha Gorges.

Todgha Gorge is a well-known valley nearby Tinghir city; we will stop for enough time to share the road with locals crossing and feel free to capture some of your best photography shots when the caramel coloured rocky walls mix with shadows and the lighting of the clear blue sky.

After lunch in the Gorge, we carry on driving o the desert.

Once we make it to Merzouga, we drop you off at your hotel to rest and get prepared for camel trekking through the Erg-Chebbi sand dunes.

On your camel, enjoy the changing colours of the dunes as the sun goes down until reaching the camp.

On your feet, ascend a dune and have sit looking at the sun disappearing in a charming desert sunset. After that, dinner is served in the camp in addition to a seat around campfire to listen to drums music under the sparkling sky.

The last day of 3 Days desert tour from Marrakech to Merzouga After a fascinating sunrise in the desert followed by a shower and breakfast, we go back to the hotel in Merzouga by either camels or car depending on your choice.

We depart Merzouga towards the town of Rissani, in which we will stop for a mini tour inside its interesting traditional market and end with in the great gate out of the town.

Afterwards, we carry on our way to Ouarzazate via the villages and palm groves in the road and stop at the Valley of Roses in the town of Kelaat M’Gouna to gather more information about the festival of roses held in the town every year.

Another stop is in the town of Skoura, known for its palm grove, in which we will visit a charming Kasbah named “Amridil Kasbah” to visit its living museum.

Arriving Ouarzazate, we will stop for lunch and rest before we keep driving to Marrakech.

On the High Atlas Mountains, we will enjoy the picturesque ways until the Marrakech. 3 Days tour ends in Marrakech.
