We will start our 8 Days tour from Marrakech, depending on time of arrival, we depart Marrakech and hit the road straight to Casablanca, the economic and business center of the country.

Once we get to this city, we visit the astonishing mosque of Hassan II in which you can take amazing photos of the unique design style of the mosque and its long minaret.

Our excursion continues by a scenic drive beside the ocean to reach Rabat.

In the administrative capital of Morocco, we are going to visit a famous tower better known as the uncompleted mosque.

Next to the tower, there is the mausoleum of the king Mohamed V.

We also visit a Kasbah that is listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, the Kasbah of the Oudayas. In the evening, we drive you to your hotel to have dinner and overnight stay.

Day 2 :

Rabat – Meknes – Roman ruins ‘Voluilis’ – Fes :

After breakfast, we drive to the city of Meknes which is known for its historical monuments.

Once we get to the city, we visit one of the most famous gates in the country, Bab Mansour Gate, and just next to the gate, there is Lehdim square where people gather in the evening.

Also, behind the gate we visit the mausoleum of the city’s founder, Moulay Ismail, and the mystery of Qara prison.

Not too far from Meknes, there is one of Morocco’s best-preserved Roman ruins, Volubilis.

Founded before the Christian era, Volubilis is considered to be the capital of a Berber kingdom known as “Mauretania”.

Now, you can discover more about this historical city walk through its old walls and buildings and get your memory back to the roman era in the area and imagine how they manage to live here as one of the most remote cities within the Roman Empire.

In the evening, we end this day by driving to Fes and drop you in your hotel or riad.

Day 3 :

Fes city exploration:

In the third day of the tour, we devote the whole day to explore the imperial city of Fes.

As the country’s second largest city, Fes is a perfect city to spend a full day in.

This city offers different activities, several touristic destinations, historical monuments, traditional souks or markets and so on.

The ancient medina or Fes Elbali is a part of the city of Fes.

It is a car-free zone in which you can walk and imagine yourself in a medieval street; you will also see different traditional markets selling different products especially made of leather like shoes and bags.

For this reason, you should visit the Chouara Tanneries, the most famous traditional handmade leather dyeing in the country.

In the medina also, we visit one of the world’s ancient universities, Al Qaraouiyyin University.

The tour surely covers different parts of the city including gates, old schools, museums and mosques.

For instance, the golden gates of the Royal Palace are a great chance in which you can take some of your best photographs. About old schools, we visit the Bou Inania and Al Attarine Madrasas.

Finally after an overview and an historical summary of the city, we end the day by an amazing view over a hill to catch a panoramic view over the whole city.

Day 4 :

Fes – Cedar Forests – High Atlas Moutains – Sahara Desert:

In the fourth day of our trip, we depart Fes and make our way to Sahara Desert.

The way takes us through fascinating scenes of villages, forests, mountains, valleys and end in the golden sands of the Desert.

The first stop would be Ifrane city, Switzerland of Morocco, in which you can see a different city with its alpine-style architecture.

Next, we stop in the Cedar Forest of Azrou in which you can see the Barbary apes moving around the Cedar trees.

Driving through the Middle Atlas will end once we stop in Midelt city for lunch and relaxation.

After that, we officially start driving above the High Atlas Mountains from which you can see the far away villages and nomads living in the area.

Our destination for today will be much more near when we cross Zaabal tunnel and step in Errachidia province. This region is known for date palm and its first rank in production of dates.

To bring it closer, we stop at Ziz Valley, a green oasis of thousands palm trees, to enjoy this panoramic view.

At last, we continue driving through the black flat lands of the desert and once we start to see the golden sands of Sahara Desert then we actually made it to Merzouga Desert in which you will stay in a hotel just in the edge of Erg-Chebbi sand dunes.

Day 5 :

Sahara Desert adventure :

Desert Safari is always one of the best plans for any trip itinerary to Morocco.

In the morning after breakfast, we get on the 4WD car and start today’s adventure.

Starting with a scenic drive through the golden sands of Merzouga and the old trace of Rally Dakar, will lead us to ascend a mountain on which we stop for an amazing view of the dunes stretching away and the black harsh desert in the edges of dunes.

It is also from where you can see the Algerian borders.

After some memorable photos above the mountain, we descend the mountain and make our way to nomad families living in the edges of the dunes.

By getting to the nomads, they will cheerfully welcome us in their beautiful tents; enjoy staying at a traditional nomad tent drinking tea.

Leaving the Nomads, we drive through the flat black lands to an old French abandoned village in what is known today as “M’Fis”.

We discover the remaining buildings and walk a little bit forward to see the mines in the area.

On our return to the main way, we stop at a village called”Khamlia”.

This village is inhabited by people actually originated from different sub-Saharan countries. Today, they serve their legacy of Gnaoua music.

The tour by the 4WD car ends when we get back to the hotel in Merzouga.

After lunch and relaxation, camel trekking begins through the sand dunes straight to the camp in the middle of the desert.

Once you reach the camp, enjoy the spectacular sunset above a dune and spend this night like a nomad in your well-equipped tent.

Day 6 :

Sahara Desert – Rissani – Todgha Gorges – Dades Valley :

Woken up early in the morning for an amazing desert sunrise, you will have shower and breakfast before getting back to the hotel.

Leaving Merzouga behind, we drive for 36km to reach Rissani, a big town better known for its traditional huge market.

Quite a while, we leave Rissani and make our way through Berber villages and green fields next to the road as well as the dried flat lands to reach Tinghir city.

Popular for its green valley and its location between the High Atlas Mountains, the city is most famous for its magnificent gorges, Todgha Gorges.

With a stream between the giant rocks, you can walk through the gorge and capture some of your best photograph shots ever.

Next, we head off to today’s destination, Dades Valley.

We’ll cross the snake road and continue the way through the sand castles in the region and then we stop to see the amazing rock formation in the mountains known as monkey toes.

This day tour ends when we drop you in your hotel in Boumalne Dades.

Day 7 :

Boumalne Dades – Ouarzazate – Ait Benhaddou – Marrakech :

Departing Boumalne Dades, today’s destination is where this tour has actually started, Marrakech.

But first, we drive through the Rose Valley and Skoura town to reach Ouarzazate.

Often referred to as Hollywood of Africa, this city is a heaven for film-makers for the different environments the city offers.

For this reason, we are going to visit the Atlas Film Studios in which you will see different stuff used in filming that will remind you of a film you watched; at moment you may find yourself in Pharaonic civilization.

In Ouarzazate too, we visit Taourirt Kasbah to discover the traditional old design of architecture and see how local families lived in this historic fortified building.

Half an hour drive, will take us to Ait Benhaddou Kasbah where we’ll stop to marvel this amazing building.

Recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1987, Ait Benhaddou Kasbah is one of the most interesting tourist attractions in the country.

Its traditional architecture has made it a suitable stop for cinematography; Gladiator, Lawrence of Arabia and Game of Thrones took place in this Kasbah.

Finally, we depart the Kasbah on a scenic drive through the Atlas Mountains and stop at a panoramic view over a mountain pass known as ‘Tizi N’Tishka’ at an altitude of 2260m. After that, we are in Marrakech.

Day 8 :

Marrakech Sightseeing :

The “Red City” or Marrakech is an imperial city since the Almoravid dynasty which made it a capital for the country.

A tour in this city may take several days and maybe months to discover the hidden secrets, but our guided tour in this city makes sure you explore both small and large.

Begin your trip with a visit to the Bahia Palace, a very well decorated palace established by the grand vizier “Ahmed Ben Moussa” or “Ba Hmad”.

North of this palace, we visit Dar Si Said Museum in which you will see jewelry, carpets, pottery and so many stuff brought from different places in the country.

After that, we visit the Saadian Tombs which were built in the 16th century; it is the place of the most important sultans of the Saadian dynasty, who ruled the country under a vast empire.

Another great palace to visit is El Badi Palace, built by the Saadian sultan Ahmed Al-Mansour to celebrate his victory at the battle of the Three Kings in 1578.

Before this tour ends, you should stroll through the traditional markets or souks and end up your trip in the busy square of Jemaa El-Fnaa, one of the most famous squares in the continent.

It is home for acrobats, snake charmers, musicians, story-tellers, herb sellers and monkey trainers.

Enjoy the sunset in a terrace of a café with a cup of mint tea.
